Search and application inputs

The free method finder runs in your browser. Unless you choose to save a report, it does not send your description to a recommendation database or an external AI service. Search terms placed in the URL as q or keyword can be included in server requests and browsing history. Avoid personal or confidential sample information in a URL search.

Language preference on this device

The selected language may be stored as thickness.language in your browser’s local storage. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser. English is the default, and a URL with lang=ko opens the Korean version.

Sign-in and catalogs

Public guides and built-in models can be read without signing in. Operator features use authentication information supplied by the hosting service and a server-managed editor list. Saved catalogs contain the original PDF, entered model specifications and author identification. Source files associated with confirmed public models can be viewed by visitors; operators should only publish material they are entitled to share.

Accounts, selection reports, and payments

When you create an account, we store the sign-in provider’s site-specific user ID, email, account creation date, and terms acceptance. Saving a report stores the application description, selected conditions, result, and creation date against your account. Only that account can open or download its reports. Saved reports persist on the server, so do not include confidential information you are not authorized to store.

PayPal processes payments. The site stores transaction/subscription identifiers, amount, currency, status, credit grants/use/expiry, and support requests. It does not store card information or PayPal passwords. Payment reconciliation uses server-to-server requests. Report creation does not call OpenAI or another external generative-AI service.

A temporary thickness.reportDraft entry in this tab’s sessionStorage can preserve your input while signing in or paying; it is removed after a report is saved. Use account support for requests about server-held account/report data. Payment and use records may need separate retention for disputes and legal obligations.

Advertising, cookies and external services

This version does not load Google advertising scripts or request ads. The ads.txt file and account metadata are retained for site verification. This version has no separately installed visitor analytics tracker.

If advertising is enabled in a future release, providers such as Google may use cookies or device information to deliver and measure ads. Applicable consent messages, a way to change consent and an updated notice must be in place before activation. Opening a manufacturer reference takes you to that site, where its own privacy practices apply.

Hosting and request records

Hosting and authentication providers may process technical information such as IP address, requested URL, time and errors to operate and secure the site. Clearing browser data does not delete server request records or published catalogs. Authorized operators manage catalog publication and removal.
